We are residents of Loyal Gardens and were very concerned to learn that a casino is being considered across from our development. Aside from the increased traffic, there will be an increase in noise, impaired drivers and parking lot altercations. (not to mention robberies) This is not an environment that is healthy for the many families that live in this development!
There are several casinos along MainSt./Huffine Lane already, as well as several at 4 corners. Isn’t this enough for this end of town? It was our understanding that casinos are not allowed in B-2 Zoning Districts, but only in M-1 and M-2. Are we mistaken? If not, please do not allow an exemption for this business.
