HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 76- 974, Amends 99 18.06.580, 18.06.640, 18.06.650, 18.06.660 and 18.06.661, zoning 398 ORDINANCE NO. 974 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.06.580, 18.06.640, 18.06.650, 18.06.660 AND ENACTING SECTIONS 18.06.661 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE CLARIFICATIONS OF THE DEFINITIONS OF EFFICIENCY UNIT, FRONT YARD, SIDE YARD AND TO ENACT A DEFINITION OF STREET SIDE YARD AND DESIGNATING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, I AS FOLLOWS TO WIT: Section 1 That Section 18.06.580 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.06.580 UNIT, EFFICIENCY. An efficiency unit is an apartment unit with unseparated area for sleeping and/or cooking with a floor area of at least 450 square feet. Section 2 That Section 18.06.640 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.06.640 YARD, FRONT. UFront yardU shall mean an open space extending the full width of the lot between a building and the front lot line, perpendicular to and measured from the front lot line. Section 3 That Section l8~06.650of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.06.650 YARD, REAR. uRear yardU shall mean an open space I between a building a rear lot line, extending the full width of the lot, perpendicular to and measured from the rear lo~ line, except for any portion thereof, which overlaps asstreet side yard. ..... Section 4 / - That Section 18.06.660 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and,the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.06.660 YARD, SIDE. uSide yardU shall mean an open space extending from the front yard between a building and the nearest side lot line, perpendicular to and measured from the side lot line. Section 5 That Section 18.06.661 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby enacted as follows: 18.06.661 YARD, STREET, SIDE. UStreet side yardU shall mean an open space extending from the front YaErld.to the rear lot line between a building and the nearest side street lot line, perpendicular to and measured from the side street lot line. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days from and after its passage and approval according to law.
