ORDINANCE NO. 967
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18.39 (R-O-RESIDENTIAL OFFICE
DISTRICT) OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE AND DESIGNATING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ,COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS
FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
Section 1
That Chapter 18.39 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
18.39.010 INTENT - The intent of this district is to provide for
and encourage the development of professional offices, business
headquarters~--and -compatible multi-family and aparbnent develop-
ment that would blend well with adjacent land uses.
18.39.020 PERMITTED USES-

2. _Apartments and mUlti-family dwellings.

4. 'Cpnditi.onal uses as listed in Chapter 18.72
of this Code. .
5. Efficiency-uuits.
6. Fire'gta-tiuns. -
7. Medical clinics.
8. Professional and business offices.
9. Signs (limited to facade and directional signs
which do not flash or reflect light directly
onto adjacent properties).
10. Temporary buildings for and during construction
only.
18.39.030 LOT AREA AND WIDTH - Lot area and width for uses in
the R-O District shall not be less than the most restrictive
requirements of the adjacent zone(s).
18.39.040 LOT COVERAGE AND FLOOR AREA -
1. Lot coverage shall not be more than 40% for residential
uses nor more than 60% for any other uses.
2. Floor area shall not be less than 750 square feet.*
*Efficiency unit excepted.
18.39.050 YARDS - Every lot shall have the following minimum
yards.
Front yard 25 feet
Rear yard 20 feet**
Side yard 8 feet**
**When a lot is adjacent or faces upon another zone, the yards
shall meet the requirements of the adjoining zone. When a lot
abuts a street or alley on either side, a yard of at least 20
feet shall be provided on the street or alley side.
18.39.060 BUILDING HEIGHT - Maximum building height for the
district shall be 32 feet.
18.39.070 OFF-STREET PARKING - Off-street parking shall be pro-
vided in accordance with Chapter 18.84 of this Code.
18.39.080 OFF-STREET LOADING - Off-street loading shall be pro-
vided in accordance with Chapter 18.87 of this Code.
Section 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after 30 days
after its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
this 7th day of July, 1976.
