BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS, TO WI'l': Section 1 That Section 18.18.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.18.020 PERMITTED USES - 1. Accessory uses and buildings including single or multi- family dwellings to house employees working on the farm or ranch. 2. Agriculture uses. 3. Churches. 4. Conditional uses as provided in Chapter 18.72 of this ordinance. 5. Fire stations. ./ - " / 6. Home occupations. -' 7. One-family dwellings. 8. The sale, on the premises, of products produced thereon. 9. Veterinary clinics. Section 2 That Section 18.21.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.21.020 PERMITTED USES - 1. Accessory uses. 2. Agriculture uses. 3. Barns and animal shelters. 4. Churches. 5. CondHd:onal uses approved in Chapter 18.72. 6. Fire stations. 7. Home occupations. 8. Newly constructeo:-one-farnily dwellings. 9. 'remporary buildings for and during construction only. 10. The keeping of animals and fowl for family food production and the keeping of horses for private use, together with their dependent young as hereinafter set forth per 2-1/2 acres: One horset or one cow, or two sheep, or two goats, or ten rabbits, or 36 fowl (chickens, pheasants, pigeons, etc.) or six larger fowl (ducks, geese, turkey, etc.). Churches. 3. Conditional uses provided in Chapter 18.72 and subject to the conditions and requirements prescribed. 4. Fire stations. 5. Home occupations. 6. Newly constructed one-family dwellings. 7. Temporary buildings for and during construction, only. Section 4 That Section 18.27.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.27.020 PERMITTED USES - Permitted uses in this district shall be only those uses permitted in an R~l District. Section 5 That Section 18.36.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.36.020 PERMITTED USES - Uses permitted in the R-2, R-3, and R-4 Districts. Section 6 That Section 18.42.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.42.020 PERMITTED USES 1. Accessory uses. 2. Churches. 3. Conditional uses as provided in Chapter 18.72 of this Code. 4. Dry cleaning and laundry establishments (processing not to be done on premises). 5. Fire stations. 6. Food stores, such as grocery stores, bakeries, etc. 7. Restaurants (exclusive of drive-ins). 8. Self-service, automatic laundries. 9. Signs (only one facade sign per business, plus one directory sign per district.) 10. Temporary buildings for and during construction only. 11. Variety stores. Section 7 That Section 18.45.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.45.020 PERMITTED USES 1. Ambulance service. 2. Antique shops. O~~NANCE NO. 966 4. Conditional uses provided in Chapter 18.72 of this Code. I 8. Churches. 10. Equipment sales and service. 11. Fire stations. 12. Food and drug stores. 13. Frozen food storage and locker rental. 14. Furniture stores. 15. Hotels and motels. 16. Gasoline service stations. 17. Laundries and dry-cleaning establishments. 18. Liquor stores. 19. Mortuaries. 20. Post offices. 21. Professional and business offices. 22. Research and development institutions. 23. Restaurants, cafes and drive-in eating establishments. 25. Signs. I 24. Shopping centers. 26. Sporting goods stores. 27. Temporary buildings for and during construction only. 28. Theaters, except drive-in theaters. 29. Uses customarily accessory to those listed. 30. Vehicle and boat sales, showrooms, and service areas. 31. Veterinary clinics. Section 8 That Section 18.48.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.48.020 PERMITTED USES 1. Ambulance service. 2. Bakeries. 3. Bars, cocktail lounges. 5. Conditional uses in accordance with Chapter 18.72 of this Code. 6. Dressmaking. 7. Financial institutions. 8. Fire stations. 9. Hotels and motels. 10. Laundry and dry cleaning. ORDINANCE NO 966 I I I 385 11. Meeting and lodge halls. 12. Muffler sales and service shops. 13. Museums, libraries, and galleries. 14. Parking lots. 15. Printing offices. 16. Private schools, such as dance, business, secretarial and technical, but not private or public elementary or secondary schools. 17. Professional and business offices (for personal services). 18. Public offices. 19. Repair services for clothes, dolls, small appliances, watches, glasses, and such other items. 20. Restaurants and cafes. 21. Retail sales such as: a) clothing b) candy c) furniture d) jewelry but excluding heavy machinery. 22. Signs. 23. Temporary buildings for and during construction only. 24. Theaters, except drive-ins. 25. Uses customarily accessory to those listed. 26. Wholesale establishments that use samples, but do not store stock on premises. Section 9 That Section 18.51.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.51.020 PERMITTED USES 1. Accessory uses. 2. Ambulance service. 3. Building sales. 4. Building contractors establishments. 5. Cabinet shops. 6. Churches. 7. Conditional uses as provided in Chapter 18.72 of this Code. . 8. Enclosed warehousing. 9. Fire stations. 10. Flour and feed mills. 11. Food processing plants. 12. Gasoline service stations. 13. Grain elevators. 14. Greenhouses. 15. Machine shops. 16. Manufacturing of light consumer goods, i.e., electronic equipment, appliances, furniture, beverages. 17. Outside storage if'accessory to permitted use and if screened from street and surrounding properties by solid fence or dense plantings at least six (6) feet high. 18. Paint shops. I Section 10 That Section 18.60.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 18.60.020 PERMITTED USES 1. Accessory buildings. 2. Ambulance service. 3. Cemeteries. 4. Museums, zoos, historic and culture exhibits. 5. Other public buildings, i.e., fire and police stations and municipal buildings. 6. Public and non-profit quasi-public institutions, i.e., universities, elementary, junior and senior high schools and hospitals. 7. Public-owned land used for parks, playgrounds, and open space. 8. Temporary buildings for and during construction only. Section 11 I This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after 30 days after its adoption.
