ORDINANCE NO. 963
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, CREATING A
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM TO PROVIDE FOR THE REPLACEMENT
AND ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY, PLANT OR EQUIPMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1

Capita'l Improvement Program
In accordance-with Section 84~4701 R.C.M., 1947, and to provide for the
replacement and aC€fuis-ltior~ of property, plant or equipment costing in excess of
$5,000.00 with a lif~ expectancy of 5 years or more, there is hereby created and
established a "Capital Impi;"ovin,lent Program".
Section 2
Source of Funds
~he City Commission shall annually determine and set centum of the monies
received from the all-purpose levy, to be placed in a separate fund known as
the "Capital Improvement Program Fund".
Section 3
Appropriation
The appropriation of an annual amount to be placed in the "Capital Improve-
ment Program Fund" shall be determined annually by the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman in the Annual Budget and shall be earmarked for the replacement
and acquisition of property, plant or equipment costing in excess of $5,000.00
with a life expectancy of 5 years or more.
Section 4
Effective Date
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, held this 23rd day of June 1976.
