ORDINANCE NO. 957
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA ADOPTING THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL
CODE, 1973 EDITION; REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 914 OF TETE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND ALL OTHER
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
Section 1
That a certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the Building
Official of the City of Bozeman, being marked and designated as "Uniform Mechanical Code, 1973
Edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials," be and the same is hereby
adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City of Bozeman for regulating and controlling the design,
contruction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and maintenance of heating,
ventilation, comfort cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators, and other miscellaneous heat
producing appliances in the City of Bozeman; providing for issuance of permits and collection of
fees therefore; providing penalties for violation of such code; and each and all of the regulations,
provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of such "Uniform Mechanical Code, 1973 Edition, published
by the International Conference of Building Officials," on file in the office of the Building Official
are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance.
Section 2
That Ordinance No. 914 of the City of Bozeman, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3
This Ordinance shall become effective 30 days after it's passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, this 13th day of
August, 1975.

printed and published in Bozeman in the issue of the 19th day of August, 1975,
and due proof of such publication is on file in my office.
