ORDINANCE NO. 937
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5, CHAPTER 5.16 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL
CODE TO REQUIRE THAT EACH OWNER, UPON REGISTRATION OF A DOG PURSUANT
TO SECTION 5.16.020, SHOW PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:

Section 1
Q That Section 5.16.0201 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby
created to read as follows:
"5.16.0201 RABIES VACCINATION REQUIRED. Upon registration of each dog, the owner
shall provide to the Clerk of the Commission evidence that said dog has been vaccinated
for rabies in the form of a certificate from a licensed veterinarian, showing that said
vaccination is valid."
Section 2
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances of the City of Bozeman in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3
That the ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days from its final adoption.
FINALLY ADOPTED AND APPROVED AT A REGULAR SESSION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN HELD ON THE 26th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1973
