ORDINANCE NO. 928
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN CREATING A CITY
OF BOZEMAN ZONING COMMISSION, ESTABLISHING COMPOSITION
OF THE COMMISSION, TERMS OF COMMISSION MEMBERS AND
DUTIES OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN ZONING COMMISSION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA AS FOLLOWS,
TO WIT:
Section 1
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2706, Revised Codes of Montana, there
is hereby created and established a City of Bozeman Zoning Commission.
Section 2
The City of Bozeman Zoning Commission shall consist of nine (9) members appointed
by the Mayor with concurrence of the City Commission. Seven (7) of the Zoning Commission
members shall hold concurrent office as members of the Bozeman City-County Planning
Board and two (2) of the Zoning Commission shall hold concurrent office as members of the
Board of Adjustment of the City of Bozeman.
Section 3
Terms of the individual members of the Zoning Commission shall be coincidental and
concurrent with terms for which they have been appointed to serve as members of the Bozeman
City-County Planning Board and Board of Adjustment as appropriate and the terms shall
continue until a successor has been appointed and qualified.

Section 4
The City of Bozeman Zoning Commission shall have such powers and duties as are provided
in Chapter 27, Title 11, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, and Chapter 17 of the Bozeman
Ml.U1icipal Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, this
2nd day of May, 1973.
