HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 73- 927, Amends Chapter 11.04, traffic. 260 ORDINANCE NO.~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 11.04 OF THE OOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE GARAGE OWNERS AND REPAIR SHOPS TO REFeRT AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS AND DAMAGE TO AUTOMOBILES CAUSED BY BULLET HOLES, - PENALTY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT: I Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 11.04 of the Official Code of the City of Bozeman, be amended to read as follows: CHAPTER 11.04 11.04.361 Garage owners and repair shops to report automobile accidents and bullet holes. Any person in charge of any garage or repair shop to which is brought any motor vehicle which shows evidence of having been involved in an accident and does not have a windshield accident sticker, or has been struck by any bullet, shall report to the chief of police within twenty-four hours after such motor vehicle is received, giving the engine number, registration number and the name and address of the owner or operator of such vehicle. (32-1212 R.C.M. 1947) Every person who shall violate the provision of the above shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $25.00. Section 2. That all Ordinances and portions of Ordinances in conflict herewith I are hereby repealed.
