ORDINANCE NO. 900
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 4.16.010 AND SECTION 4.16.020
OF TIlE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE SALE OF BEER AND
LIQUOR IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
Section 1. That Sections 4.16.010 and 4.16.020 be, and the same hereby are repealed.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS,
TO-WIT:
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty
(30) days from its final adoption.
FINALLY ADOPTED AND APPROVED at a regular session of the Ci.ty Commission of the
City of Bozeman held on the 16th day of September, 1970.

ORDINANCE NO. 899
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.36.010 AND 9.36.020 OF THE BOZEMAN
MUNICIPAL CODE; PRESCRIBING A SIDEWALK WIDTH OF 10 FEET IN THE CEN-
TRAL BUSINESS AND MOTOR BUSINESS DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR VARIANCES
IN THE WIDTH THEREOF BY TIlE CITY COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
OlliER SIDEWALKS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM WIDTH
OF 5 FEET AND PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY SIDEWALKS UPON PERMIT ISSUED
BY THE CITY MANAGER; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
Section 1. That Section 9.36.010 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
9.36.010 Construction to be under supervision of city-engineer--Width of sidewalks--
Variances. All Sidewalks and curbs which may hereafter be constructed upon any
street or avenue in the City of Bozeman, whether ordered in by the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman, or constructed under the laws governing Special Improvement
Districts, or installed by any contractor or property owner, or otherwise, shall
be constructed under the supervision, direction and inspection of the city engineer,
and out of such materials as may be prescribed by him.
All sidewalks constructed in the central business district and motor business
district of the City of Bozeman shall have a minimum width of ten (10) feet unless
a variance is granted by majority vote of the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman. All other sidewalks constructed on any of the streets and avenues of
the City of Bozeman shall have a minimum width of five (5) feet.
Section 2. That Section 9.36.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be, and the same hereby
is amended to read as follows:
9.36.020 Concrete sidewalks to be constructed Variance for temporary sidewalks.
Permanent concrete sidewalks shall be constructed within and upon all of the
streets and avenues of the City of Bozeman; provided that the City Engineer of
the City of Bozeman may issue a permit for the construction of temporary sidewalks
of other materials.
Section 3. That all ofdinances and parts of ordinances of the City of Bozeman in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days from its final adoption.
