ORDINANCE NO 881
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN BY CHANGING FROM CLASS "Mil RESIDENTIAL TO MOTOR BUSINESS
ALL OF THE LAND IN THE NORTHERN PACIFIC ADDITION, NOW ZONED AS
CLASS 11M" RESIDENTIAL, LYING EAST OF THE WEST SIDE OF VACATED
SWITZLER AVENUE AND BETWEEN ELLIS STREET AND U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 10.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, upon the request of the City-
County Planning Board to change from Class "AA" Residential to Motor Business all of the land in the
Northern Pacific Addition, now zoned as Class "AA" Residential, lying East of the West Side of
vacated Swit~ler Avenue and between Ellis Street and U. S. Highway No. 10, and after publication in
the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a newspaper of general circulation and the official newspaper of the
City of Bozeman, of notice of hearing on the proposed zoning change published as aforesaid at least
fifteen (15) days before the time of said hearing and setting forth in said notice the time and
place of said hearing; and the City Commission having on the 26th day of May 1969, the date set
for said hearing as set forth in said published notice, met in regular session to hear protests
against said proposed amendment and there being no protests against such change filed with the
City Clerk or presented at said meeting; and the City Commission having found that said proposed
zoning change is to the best interest of said City and the inhabitants thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the zoning map of the City of Bozeman, Montana, be, and the same hereby is
amended by changing the zoning classification of the following described property, to-wit:
All the land in the Northern Pacific Addition lying East of the West side
of vacated Switzler Avenue and between Ellis Street and U.S. Highway No. 10.
from Class "AA" Residential zone to Motor Business Zone.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after its passage and
approva 1.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, this 25th day of
June, 1969.
