ORDINANCE No. 876
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AMENDING SECTION 17.08.140 or
THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE, DEFINING "FAMILY", REPEALING ALL ORDIN~
ANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND DECLARING
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF ENACTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISS ION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
Section 1. That Section 17.08.140 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is
amended to read as follows:
A family is any number of individuals related by marriage, blood or
adoption, together with not more than four (4) persons unrelated by blood,
marriage or adoption, living or cooking together as a single non-profit
housekeeping unit.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflictherewith are hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after its
adoption.
Passed and adopted at a regular session of the Commission of the City of Bozeman held on
the 12th day of March, 1969.
