ORDINANCE NO. 845
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.04.010 OF THE BOZEMAN
I MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT THE 1960 EDITION OF THE FIRE
PREVENTION CODE RECOMMENDED BY THE NATIONAL BOARD OF
FIRE UNDERWRITERS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND ALL
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWI~1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
Sec tion 1. That Section l3.04.UlO of the Bozeman Municipal Code be,
and the same is hereby amended by deleting the number 1956 in line 6 of
said printed code and substituting therefor the figure ~96U so that said
section reads as follows:
"13.04.010 Adoption of fire prevention code. There
is hereby adopted by the City Commission for the purpose
of prescribing regulations governing conditions
hazardous to life and pro~erty from fire or explosion,
that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code,
Abbreviated Edition, recommended by the National Board
of Fire Underwriters, being particularly the 1960 edition
thereof and the whole thereof, of which code not less
than three copies have been and now are filed in the
office of the Clerk of the City Commission, and the same
are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set
out at length herein, and from the date of which this
ordinance shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall
be controlling within the limits of the City of Bozeman."
I Sec tion 2. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict here-
with be and the same hereby are repealed.
PROVISIONALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED by the affirmative and unanimous vote
of all members of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a
regular session thereof, held on the 1st day of April, 1964.
