ORDINANCE NO. 844
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME IN THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, PROVIDING WHEN THE SAME SHALL
I BE IN EFFECT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That effective at 2:00 o'clock a.m. on the 3uth day of May
of each year, commencing with the year 1964, the Standard Time in the City of
Bozeman, Montana, shall be e~~anced one ~~ from the United states Mountain
-
Standard Time presently observed in said City and such advanced time shall remain
in effect as the s tahdard time, referred to as Dayligh t Savings Time, for the
City of Bozeman, until the hour of 2:00 o'clock a.m. (Daylight Savings ~ime) on
the day following Labor Day of each year, commencing with the year 1964, at
which latter moment the Daylight Savings Time in the City of Bozeman, Montana,
shall recede one hour to conform to United States Mountain Standard Time.
Sec tion 2. That all municipal offices and all ordinances, resolutions,
orders and regulations of the City of Bozeman, Montana, relating to time within
which rights mayor shall accrue, shall be governed and regulated by the fore-
I going provisions.
Sec tion 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are, insofar only as they are in conflict herewith, hereby repealed.
PROVISIONALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED by the affirmative and unanimous vote of
all members of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session thereof, held on the 25th day of March, 1964.

Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of March, 1964, at a regular
session of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, Ordinance No. 844,

was provisionally passed and adopted.
That Wednesday, the 1st day of April, 1964, at one o'clock p.m., at the
Commission Room of the City Hall, Bozeman, Montana, is designated as the time
and place set for final passage and adoption.
