HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-11-16, Mikolon, Midtown RezoningGood morning. I'm writing to you to encourage (and plead) that you consider voting NO on R-5 zoning. My husband and I own and live at 514 N 10th Ave. We both own small businesses and have 2 small children. We support our community and neighbors by volunteering our time for educational opportunities and giving our all to beautify and restoring our mid century home. We are whole hearted invested in this neighborhood. By allowing the addition of R-5 zoning, the city will RUIN our property value. We'll literally be surrounded by 5 story buildings and an extreme influx of traffic?? Our view of the Bridgers that we cherish will disappear. And it will congest the high school neighborhood AND TRAFFIC FLOW so negatively, it will be impossible to navigate effectively. Please consider our point of view. We work so hard as blue collar members of this community to be positive members of our neighborhood. Why turn small town neighborhoods into sizable city developments. It's the loss of what makes Bozeman great. A farewell to quaint and tight community. NO on R-5 is the only sensible option for within city limits. Sincerely, Laurel Mikolon (406)581-8397
