Subject: Addendum to Professional Services Agreement with
Hydrologistics LLC for Irrigation Services for Public Right-of
Ways

Recommendation: Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to sign an Addendum to the
Professional Services Agreement with Hydrologistics Irrigation LLC (Contractor) for Irrigation
Services for Public Right-of- Ways.
Background: The City of Bozeman entered into an agreement with Contractor September 15,
2014 for irrigation services. The contract expired on December 1, 2015. Section 30 of the
Professional Services Agreement allows for extension of the contract. It is requested that the
agreement be extended at this time, expiring on December 1, 2016. This extension provides for
continuity of work flow and benefit to the City from experience of irrigation systems obtained by
said Contractor.
Alternatives: As suggested by the Commission.
Fiscal Effects: The funds for the extended agreement are available in the Public Works budget
in the Streets Division.

FIRST ADDENDUM TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST ADDENDUM TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT is
made and entered into this _____ day of ____________, 2016, by and between the CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, a self governing municipal corporation organized and existing under
its Charter and the laws of the State of Montana, 121 North Rouse Street, Bozeman, Montana,
with a mailing address of PO Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59771, hereinafter referred to as “City,”
and Hydrologistics Irrigation LLC, hereinafter referred to as “Contractor.”
In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements herein contained, the receipt and
sufficiency whereof being hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Extension of Term. Section 30 of the Professional Services Agreement between the City
and Contractor dated September 15, 2014 (the Agreement) is extended for an additional
one (1) year period. The Agreement shall terminate on December 1, 2016.
2. Agreement still valid. All remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain
valid.
