WHEHEAS, the Admustment Board under the provisions of Ordinance No. 711 of The
City of Bozeman, the short title of which is "The Zoning Ordinance", and acting pursu-
ant to the provisions of said Ordinance, has recommended to The City Commission that

certain changes hereinafter in this Ordinance particularly described, be made in the
boundaries of certain zone districts, also in this Ordinance hereinafter particularly
described and specified, as fixed in said "The Zoning Ordinance" and amendments thereto,
and The City Commission having duly considered such recommendation and after such con-
sideration have decided to adopt and give effect to the same; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COJ,',LV!ISSION OF' THE CITY OF BOL:.ElVlAN:
Section 1. That Part I of Section VII of Ordinance No. 711 be, and the same is
hereby, amended so as to read as follows:
Part I. Beginning at tIle point of intersection of the center line of Black Avenue,
North witp the center line of West Peach street; thence West along the center line
of \Vest Peach Street (or Durston Road) to its intersection wi th the center line of
the alley between Fifth and Sixth Avenues , North, as platted in Violett Addition
to Bozeman; thence Southerly along the center line of said alley, and said line ex-
tended to its intersection with the center line of the alley between West Lamme
and V,'est 1.1endenhall streets; thence Easterly along the center line of said alley
to its intersection with the center line of Black Avenue, North; thence North
along the center line of Black Avenue, North, to the point of beginning.
That Part II of Section VII of Ordinance No. 711 be, and the same is hereby amend-
ed to read as follows:

Part II. Beginning at the point of intersection of' the West line of Third Avenue
and the South line of the alley between Main and Babcock Str~ets, thence Souther-
ly along the West line of Third Avenue to the North line of Babcock Street, thence
'Westerly along the North line of Babcock street to the point of its intersection
with the West line produced of Fourth Avenue, thence Southerly along the West line
of Fourth Avenue to a point midway between the South line of College Street and
the North line of Harrison Street, thence Westerly along a line midway between
said College and Harrison Streets to its intersection with the center line of -
Eighth Avenue, thence Northerly Along the center line of Eighth Avenue to the
North line of College Street, thence Westerly along the North line of College
Street to the West line of Eleventh Avenue, thence Northerly along the West line
of Eleventh Avenue to the South line of the alley between Babcock and Main Streets,
thence Easterly along the South line of said alley to its intersection with the
center line of Eighth Avenue, thence South along the center line of Eighth Avenue
to the center line of Babcock Street, thence East along the center line of Babcock
Street to the center line of Seventh Avenue, thence North along the center line of
Seventh Avenue to the South line of the alley between Babcock Street and Main Street,
thence Easterly along the South line of said alley to the place of beginning; and
also including all of tlle West Side Addition to Bozeman as originally platted and
as such original plat is of record and on file in the office of the City Engineer
of The City of Bozemnn and in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Galla-
tin County, Montana.
Section 2. That Part III of Section VIII of said Ordinance, No. 711 be, and the
same is hereby repealed.
Part I. Beginning at 8 point in the North City Limits, said point being 490 feet
East of the East line of Seventh Avenue, North: Thence Easterly along said North
City Limits to the center line of 'rhird Avenue; thence Southerly along the center
line of Third Avenue to the center line of Tamarack street; thence Easterly along
the center line of Tamarack Street to the center line of Rouse Avenue, North;
thence Northerly along the center line of Rouse Avenue, North, to the center line

Section 3. 'rhat Section IX of said Ordinance No. 711 be, and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:

of Juniper Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Juniper Street to the center
line of Church Avenue, North; thence Southerly along the center line of Church Avenue,
North, to the center line of Peach Street; thence Westerly along the center line of
Peach Street to the point of intersection wi th the center line produced of perldns

of Lamme Street; thence Westerly along the center line of Lamme ~treet to the center
line of Black Avenue, North; thence Northerly along the center line of Black Avenue,

Peach Street (or Durston Road) to a point 490 feet East of the East line of Seventh
Avenue, North; thence Northerly along a line parallel wi th and 490 feet East of the
East line of said Seventh Avenue, North to the point of beginning.
Part II. Beginning at the point of intersection of the North City Limits with the
West City Limits, thence East along said North City Limits to a point 490 feet West
of the West line of Seventh Avenue, North, thence Southerly parallel with and 490 feet
West of the West line of Seventh Avenue, North to the North line of the East and livest
alley between Main and ~endenhall Streets; thence West along the North line of said
alley to the West City Limits, thence North along the West City Limits to the point
of beginning.
Section 4. That that part of Section Xl of said Ordinance No. 711 which defines
the bqundaries of "Residence':'Buslness District No.2" be, and the same is hereby amend-
ed to read as follows:
Residence-Business District No.2.
Part I. Beginning at a point in the North City Limits, said point being 490 feet
west of the west line of Seventh Avenue North; thence East along the North
City Limits to a point 490 feet East of the East line of Seventh Avenue North;
thence Southerly parallel with and 490 feet East of the East line of Seventh
Avenue, North, to the center line of Peach street (or Durston Road); thence
West along the center line of Peach Street to the center line of the Alley
between Fifth nnd Sixth Avenues, North, as platted in The Violett Addi tion to
Bozeman; thence Southerly along the center line of said Alley, and said line
extended, to the South-line of Beall Street; thence West along the South line
of Deall Street to a point 490 feet West of the 'v"j'est line of Seventh Avenue,
North; thence North and parallel with and 490 feet ~~ West of the West line
of Seventh Avenue, North, to the point of beginning.
Part II. Beginning at the point of intersection of the South line of the alley
between Main Street and Babcock Street with the center line of Eighth Avenue;
thence South along the center line of Eighth Avenue to its intersection with
the center line of Babcock Street; thence East along the center line of Babcock
Street to its intersection with the center line of Seventh Avenue; thence North
along the center line of Seventh Avenue to the South line of the alley between
Main and Babcock Streets; thence West along the South line of' the alley between
Main and Babcock Streets to the point of beginning.
Section 5. 'That Ordinance Number 735 of The Ci ty of Bozeman which amends Part 11
of Section VII and Section Xl of Ordinance No. 711, the short title of which is "The
Zoning Ordinance", and all ordinances and pArts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinanc~ is presented for consideration at a regular meeting of
Tho City Commission held on the 12th day of July, 1946, and after such consideration and
in compliance with the provisions of Section XVII of said Ordinance No. 7ll, "The Zon-
ing Ordinance", relating to chRnges and amendments thereof, ordered to layover for
fu.rtller consideration and final action unt~n the regular meeting of The Ci ty COr.1mission
to be held on the 26th day of July, 1946.
Section 7. rrhis ordinance having been further considered by The City Commission
at its regular meeting on the 26th da:l of July, 1946, it was, e.fter such further oon-
sideration, duly passed and adopted by the unanimous vote of The City COY'imission on
said 26th day of July, 1946.
