ORDINANCE NO. 723
AN ORDINANCE FORBIDDING AND PROHIBITING THE PRESENCE OF MINORS IN ANY
PLACE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN WHERE INTOXICATING LIQUOR IS SOLD BY THE DRINK FOR BEVERAGE
PURPOSES AND CONSUMPTION ON SUCH PLACE OR PREMISES AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1. The presence of any minor child, whether accompanied by parent, guardian,
or other adult person or not, in any place or premises within the corporate limits of The
City of Bozeman to which the general public is invited or admitted and where intoxicating
liquor is sold by the drink and permitted to be consumed upon the premises, 1s hereby
foribdden and prohibited; and any proprietor, manager, operator, bartender or other
person in charge of such place or premises who permits or allows any such minor child to
be in or about such place or premises shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this
ordinance.
Section 2. Every person guilty of a violation of this ordinance shall, ~pon convic-
tion thereof in the Police Court of The City of Bozeman, be fined in any sum not less than
one dollar nor more than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the city of county
jail for not more than thirty days, or by both such fine and impr~8onment.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission of The City of Bozeman in regular session
assembled this 23rd day of July, 1943.
