ORDINANCE NO. 810
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PURCHASE BY PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF
INTOXICATING LIQ,UOR" BEER OR WlNE, PROHIBITING THE POSSESSION BY ANY PERSON UNDER THE
AGE OF TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF .ANY INTOXICATING LIQUOR" BEER, OR WINE, DECLARING THE POSSESS-
ION OF ANY INTOXICATING LlQUOR, BEER, OR WINE BY ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-
ONE YEARS TO BE A NUISANCE .AND TO CONSTITUTE CONDUCT CALCULATED TO DISTURB THE PUBLIC
PEACE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND OFFENSIVE TOTRE PUBLIC MORALS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN;
AND PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE
I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section It No person under the age of twenty-one years shall purchase any intoxicating liquor,

See tion 2: No person who shall not have reached the age of twBnty-one years shall have in his or
her possession intoxicating liquor, beer" or wine.
Section 3: The City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, hereby declares the possession of
intoxicating liquor, beer, or wine by any person who shall not have reached the age of twenty-one years
to be 8. nuisance, and to constitute conduct calculated to distw:ttb the public peace of said City and
offensive to the public morals of said City.
Section 4: Any person found builty of violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punished
by a fine not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00).
Section 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Passed and adopted by the unanimous vote of the City Commission in regular s8ssion assembled this
11th day of March A. D. 1959.
