COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 4675
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2016 (FY16)
LIBRARY DEPRECIATION RESERVE FUND BUDGET TO INCLUDE THE
REPLACEMENT OF LIBRARY CHAIRS AT A TOTAL COST OF$50,000.
WHEREAS,the City Commission did, on the 22"d day of June, 2015, after due and proper

legal notice conduct a public hearing on and adopt Resolution No. 4602 -A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,MONTANA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
VARIOUS BUDGET UNITS,AND FURTHER ESTIMATING REVENUE NECESSARY TO
OPERATE AND MAINTAIN SERVICES OF MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30,2016; and
WHEREAS, after Resolution No. 4602 appropriations are fully expended, the Library
Depreciation Reserve Fund is estimated to have an ending working capital balance of$231,000; and
WHEREAS, on November 16,2015 the City Commission approved the Library Depreciation
Reserve Fund Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Years 2017-2021 which included item LIB 17 —
Upholstered Chair Replacements. These replacements were to be completed in Fiscal Year 2017 with
cash on hand in the fund; and

WHEREAS,there is a desire to replace these chairs before the beginning of Fiscal Year 2017;

WHEREAS, the City Conunission did, on the 29th day of February 2016, after due and

proper legal notice, conduct a public hearing on this proposed budget amendment.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, I

Section 1 —Appropriation Additions
The City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby authorize additional
expenditures in the Library Depreciation Reserve Fund:
Library—Office Furniture $50,000
Total Additional Appropriations 5{�
Section 2—Source of Funding for Appropriation Additions
The increased appropriation will be funding by using existing cash on hand,thereby reducing
Fund Balance.
Section 3
Pursuant to Section 7-6-4030, M.C.A., this resolution, upon its passage, shall be in fill force
and effect on July 1,2015.
Section 4
That should it be found by any court of competent jurisdiction that any section,clause,portion,
sentence, word, or phrase of this resolution is deemed to be contrary to any existing law or regulations,
that in this instance, it is the intent of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, that all
other portions, sections, words, clauses, phrases, or paragraphs of this document shall remain in full
force and effect.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a
regular session thereof held on the 29th day of February,2016.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR BUDGET AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-6-4021, Montana
Code Annotated, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana will conduct a public
hearing on amending the municipal budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016, embodied in
Commission Resolution No. 4675, at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 29, at City Hall, 121 N.
Rouse Avenue, Bozeman, Montana.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION. OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2016 (FY16) LIBRARY DEPRECIATION RESERVE FUND
BUDGET TO INCLUDE THE REPLACEMENT OF LIBRARY CHAIRS AT A TOTAL COST OF
$50,000.
Copies of Commission Resolution No 4675 are on file in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall,
121 N. Rouse Avenue, and may be examined by all interested citizens.
Any and all interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to submit testimony
in support or in opposition to the proposed budget amendment or to submit written testimony
