Incident Narrative: Bozeman Firefighters were dispatched to Sack's of Bozeman, 138 West
Mendenhall, to a report of smoke and fire coming from the building.
Investigation on scene found a fire in the North East corner of the interior of
the building. Firefighters extinguished the fire and removed the smoke from
the building. Further investigation determined that the fire was probably
caused by an electrical malfunction. The fire investigation is continuing.

Incident Narrative: Members of the Sigma Chi were having a recreational fire after dark. The
Bozeman Police had the members of the Sigma Chi extinguish the fire before

Durston. Upon arrival firefighters were informed that a woman had been
cooking and had burned some grease. Firefighters used a positive pressure fan
to remove the smoke from the building. The occupant was in another room
when she was alerted by her smoke detector and was able to leave her
apartment.

reported fuel spill in the 300 block of Jackrabbit Lane. A transport truck fuel
tank fitting failed causing the tank to leak. approximately thirty gallons of
diesel onto the parking lot. Firefighters applied absorbant material to the spill
to slow soil contamination.
