Message: I feel that an injustice may be decided in favor of giving the City Manager a pay raise
at tonight's meeting. This City Manager has done little to enhance the quality of life for the tax
paying citizens of Bozeman. Because of his mishandling of a number of situations, e.g. requiring
city employees to divulge their passwords, etc., and having the city to pay for lawsuits brought
against his personal decisions. And let's not forget the bear cat situation. If he was working in the
private sector, he would have been terminated immediately for not following corporate policies.
Why should he be given a raise based on the perception of what like positions are paying in other
cities. Should other Bozeman city employees salaries also be adjusted accordingly? I implore
you to reject this undeserved pay raise.
