Message: Greetings, I have lived an worked in the Bozeman area from 2002-2006 and from
2008-present and had attended MSU for a generous portion of both of these time periods. I am
writing to express my support for approving a Growth Policy Amendment to rezone the property
at 1 Simmental Way from industrial to commercial. I believe the change would help
accommodate a more aesthetically pleasing North 19th corridor, encourage tourism, and
otherwise benefit the local economy. I've been pleased to see the commercial developments
along 19th which have occurred during my residency in Bozeman and will be excited to see
commerce develop further for North 19th st. I believe commercial property flanking the traverse
along I-90 through Bozeman, rather than industrial, will be helpful in drawing passers-by into
our city and boosting our economy - not to mention the greater visual appeal of commercial
property over that which is zoned industrial. Thank you for your consideration, Jordan Bowman
