COMMUNITY DEVELU"I"WN-I
City of Bozeman Community Planning Development,
I am writing this letter with regards to the Golden Gate Condominiums site plan. (file no.15331)
I have many concerns with such a huge development coming into our quiet neighborhood.
The streettraffic is already a problem with cars parking on both sides of the streets making only 1 lane open
in both directions. I always see this and wonder if a fire truck will be able to maneuver thrn these tight
spaces. These condominiums will only have ingress/egress within our development. They do not have their
own road. Exiting the neighborhood on Huffine is always an interesting task. With the widening of
Cottonwood to 4 lanes, itwill just get harder to get out those exits too. Now add an additions 84 to 168 plus
cars to the mix,it will be a nightmare.
I live on Advance Drive and there will literally be a big wall behind our homes less than 100 feet away.
We all understand the high density that the City of Bozeman wants but please remember the homeowners
that have a huge investment in the homes that this type of development will effect Also, these type of
building just are not within the character of our neighborhood. We are single family homes with absolutely
no buffer to this development
I am a big animal lover and with being so dose to Huffine,I am so worried that adding up to 70 to a possibly
210 more dogs to this little area will result in many more accidents on Huffine if these dogs are left off leash
and run onto Huffine(which we all know is a problem if you read the missing dogs reports etc).
I knowthese are small concerns in the cities mind but I moved to Bozeman from Denver,Co to have a much
quieter life and the hope of having a solid investment in my house for my retirement.
Thank you
for you
time and concern,
