We are writing this letter as concerned residents of the Loyal Garden Subdivision.
We would like you to reconsider the proposed high density housing units planned for our
neighborhood.
The rationale for this request is solely related to the potential negative impacts on the existing
character of the neighborhood. While we are aware that this is zoned for high density housing,
the remainder of the neighborhood contains single family dwellings.
This is in stark contrast to the initial development zoning plans i.e. while some lots could also
have been developed as multi-family dwellings, this is not how they were developed and it
remains as a single family dwelling neighborhood.
The character of Loyal Garden will not be reflected in the current high density proposed
buildings.
Our hope is that you will reconsider the design of this lot to lower the density and reflect the
character of the neighborhood.
