Message: My name is Lauren Winter and I am a senior at Bozeman High School. I am very concerned
about the safety of teen drivers and the efficiency of their daily commute to school. For my Government
class we are required to partake in a "Civic Action" project, intended for students to go and change
something within the community. Naturally, I want to focus on driver safety for my project, more
specifically I would like to eliminate the hassle of turning left on the intersection of 11th and Main by
installing a left turning arrow. I have contacted several people before finally communicating with Lee
Ault who told me that I must now contact the Bozeman City Commission to see about obtaining a formal
letter requesting a study for the traffic intersection. I was just wondering how to proceed in getting this
formal letter and what I need to do to ensure that this is an efficient process. Sincerely, Lauren Winter
