SUBJECT: Task Order, 2016 Groundwater and Landfill Gas Monitoring Story Mill Landfill
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
MEETING DATE: January 4, 2016
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached Task Order for
ongoing groundwater and landfill as monitoring at the Story Mill Landfill.
BACKGROUND: The City has an ongoing Professional Services contract with Tetra Tech Inc. to provide semi-annual groundwater monitoring and monthly landfill gas (LFG) monitoring at
the Story Mill Landfill. The attached Task Order extends the current agreement in order to
provide these services through December 2016.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The cost of this work will be $81,177.00. This work will be paid for from
the solid waste fund.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
