Message: This morning, Mon. 12/21, parking offers patrolled my B3 neighborhood and ticketed
my tenant for being parked more than 48 hrs. in front of her own apartment (although she says
she moved the car on Sat., 12/19). The officers indicated that we need to move our cars 500 feet
every two days, a news flash for us long-time residents. Many of my neighbors, both middle-
class and working-class residents, feel we are being harassed (just for living in a small home on a
small lot without a garage) in order to displace us to make room for more luxury developments
like Block M. This example is a great illustration of our frustration. We don't even know where
to park anymore. Sigh.
