Message: I don't understand why the street dept. can not handle plowing the streets. I have lived
here 30 yrs. my son graduated from college here and still lives here. The town has grown so
much, but Michelle Dipzinski said that the street dept. hasn't grown. Why is that?? Was there no
fore thought that this may happen? I saw 4 cars get stuck on my street today, just during times I
happened to be looking out the window. My frien Jane Hawks was on TV the other night and her
street has still not been plowed that I can see. Why can't we adopt the odd/even system for
plowing streets? I've seen it done very successfully. It's hard at first because cars have to be
towed, but after that it's easy. And so much safer!! I live close to the University and a elementary
school. The street condition is awful and unsafe. Shame on our city! Please try to fix this, it's not
going to quit snowing forever. This is a ski town and we should have the equipment and man
power to do this.
