Message: I agree with Derek Strahns message in the Chronicle dated Dec. 3rd, 2015. More
people have moved to Bozeman because of our beautiful historic down town and well preserved
homes located within the Bozeman Historic Districts. These older homes have been restored by
many loving working families over the years. I was on the Historic Preservation board and did
my part in restoring the Lehrkind mansion with my family in the 1980s. I think we should stay
on the program we have now and increase it to encompass the mid century homes in other
neighborhoods. Pride of ownership increases the value of homes and neighborhoods making
Bozeman a special place to live. Please don't take a step backwards! By beautifying north
seventh ave. more homes will be preserved in that part of Bozeman. Thanks for your continued
support in making our town a unique and special place to live!
