Please commend Mr. Andrew Kerr, Engineering Assistant, with whom I spoke about a fall on
S.6th Street approximately 10 days ago. The concrete sidewalk slab was lifted over 1" above the
level of surrounding sidewalk and I went down hard. The next day I called to ask that it be
repaired. No affirmative response, so I went to the engineering office and Mr. Kerr suggested
that although they could not grind it down or replace the slab at this time, there might be a way
to patch it until next summer, and apparently he did just that, so that the sidewalk is now safe.
We moved here in May and it delights me to learn that the City of Bozeman is so responsive and
effective. A thousand thanks to Mr. Kerr for his follow through and to Mr. Kukulski, the City
