Box 1230 Bozeman, MT 59771 Dear David Fine, I am pleased to submit this application for the North 7th Rehab Technical Assistance Program (fiscal year 2015) for the 612 W. Beall Renovation Project. This application is for a Technical Assistance Grant regarding preliminary design and investigative services for our project located within the TIF district on the North 7th Corridor. This grant will enable us to explore the possibility of renovating the exterior and interior of a small commercial building built in 1972 and last renovated in 1980. The following is a detailed breakdown of the project scope and how it meets the requirements set forth in the North 7th Rehab Funding Program. Project Location 612 W. Beall Street, Bozeman MT 59715. Project Description FOCUS Architects is submitting this grant funding application so that we can investigate the feasibility of renovating the exterior and interior of this commercial property. This preliminary design exploration includes: 1. A site survey of the property (Civil Engineering consultant). 2. Façade enhancement design including the potential for updating signage, looking at the possibility of entry roof systems, new window systems, new siding systems, new exterior lighting systems, etc. 3. Interior renovation space planning including a structural analysis of the existing building systems. 4. Informal Review with the city of Bozeman Planning Department. North 7th Rehab Funding Requirements This project will significantly enhance the N. 7th corridor by renovating a 1970’s building into a modern commercial office building. The major objective of this design investigation will be to determine the feasibility of redesigning the dated exterior of this building and renovating the interior space.
