on the city twitter and Facebook pages.

early next week and will answer any questions that people might have.

E. League of American Bicyclists Report
a. https://www.bozeman.net/Bicycles - additions, outreach, social
media rollout. ‘Bicycling basics’ and ‘Why should you commute by bike?’
have been added to city website by Dillon and linked from the BABAB
site. Sam can also add a link to bikebozeman.org.
Can we further promote on Facebook?
Other suggested additions and changes:
• We could change current links from the league report on what we
could to better and provide information on what we have done
already and future action items.
• Updates on how people can get involved and come to our
meetings and the BABAB page could provide access to the
Bozeman.net for more information.
• Bike routes map, photos of good bike facilities around Bozeman
and a photo gallery of bike week and previous bike counts.
• Rebecca has a list of accomplishments that we could provide a
link to.
• Links to sign up for newsletter and a ‘contact us’ link.
Dillon and Sam will spearhead tackling some of these proposed changes.
b. Bike Board members / Ambassadors: We can request part of the
funding allocated to BABAB if we have a project in mind. Can we design
a t-shirt for board members to wear to city events? We could go to the
farmer’s market and Music on Main with the city water bottle fill station.
Do we still have leftover BABAB t-shirts? Rebecca will ask Bill and Jessie
May.
Tony will draft a summary sheet on the job description and duties of a
bike ambassador.
Western Transportation Institute (WTI) is in communication with the city
about a potential partnership to create a position involving MSU, the city,
the county & WTI to coordinate bike/pedestrian issues.
c. Public Cycling Safety Classes – MSU or Library
Zach will talk to Ana price about getting signs made up for campus with

G. Streets Plan Update – tabled
a. Wikimapping
H. MSU and Bozeman High Bike Outreach/Clubs –
Juliana: She is trying to work with the high school to make double sided bike racks work
or provide new bike racks. She is also working with gear wizard. Other ideas: A
Kickstarter campaign to raise money, BABAB could write a letter recommending
appropriate space between bike racks. Juliana will email contact information and Sam
will draft a letter if needed.
Tony: Move in weekend at MSU: There were classes with tours for new students
providing information on bike facilities and safety info for cyclists. About 40 students
