D. BABAB mission and 2013 Year in Review
E. BABAB Goals for 2014 – what do we want to accomplish?
How can we better get information out such as the bike counts?
We can do this through the Bike/Walk Montana website and city emails.
How can we better coordinate with bike groups (Bike Kitchen, GVBC, Eagle Mount)?
Ideas brainstormed: Bicycle summit in Bozeman once or twice a year, coordinate list of clubs
and associations, radio contacts, info from summit could be printed on a calendar, share
ideas through google drive, form subcommittee to organize, include more groups presenting
info at bike to work week
Update/reprioritize transportation plan (Ask TCC how best to stay involved in process and
discuss issues such as what to do in cases like Flanders Mill, where it is classified as a local
road, which does not have bike lanes per Bozeman CS policy, though will likely serve as a
collector road with more traffic, which should have bike lanes per CS policy)
Further pursue Bike/Pedestrian Coordinator. We should include specific examples of things
that could be done better with a coordinator.
Continue with education goals and outreach.
