Re: CUP to allow two apartment buildings in a B-2 zone at 2220 Remington Way
Dear Commissioners:
I own the property at 1805 and 1825 S. 22nd Avenue which units are currently leased to the US
Fish Wildlife Service and Internal Revenue Service. I received a public notice to grant a
Conditional Use permit for 48 Units in 2 apartment buildings. I have also come to learn that
the development is wanting an Easement to share an existing driveway.
I strongly oppose a residential use adjacent to professional offices as it would create traffic
issues and is not the intent of a professional office/limited retail subdivision as originally
designed. This would very negatively affect my ability to negotiate a lease extension with my
Federal Government tenants and am willing to take action if this is accepted.
