RE: CUP at 2220 Remington Way
Please do not approve this CUP.
Last Winter Dick Anderson Construction and Jerry Locati Architects showed their callous dis
regard for the over dozen businesses and hundreds of employees, customers, tenants etc who
live and work in this area.
Before a major snow storm they closed down a major arterial Kagy Blvd, which we all rely on.
This was closed for over a month without any consideration for those affected by their actions.
This caused many unsafe driving maneuvers at Remington and 19th, unsafe u-turns at 19th and
Kagy. It cost us money in delayed and cancelled appointments. It created many dangerous
situations.
It would have been easy to read a weather report and plan for minimal impact!
It would have been easy to notify affected businesses ahead of time!

It would have been easy to make sure there were clear access and detour signs!
Public roads became impassable in the snow creating havoc, and we had to plow public roads
with private services. The City refused to help saying they had a plan approved to do this.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR AND SHOWS THE TOTAL DISREGARD FOR THE
NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!
Now they want to build an oversized monstrosity of overly dense residential units in a one story
business park. This project is a bad fit and once again this shows their callous disregard for the
community and neighbors.
It looks like this is to be another set of apartments with out of area owners. Out of area owners
are not capable of properly maintaining their properties. We are concerned about garbage,
safety, parking issues, underage drinking, and general disrespect and disregard for the quiet
business park we all work in.

The surrounding properties are owned locally by members of our community who take pride
and concern for our surroundings and our properties and community. Trying to push this
project through makes it clear that Dick Anderson and Jerry Locati don't care about their
impacts on the neighborhood.
Please turn down this CUP!!!
