Message: I would like to submit a comment pertaing to the frontage road speed limit agenda
topic for the city commissioners meeting tonight. I live in the mountain view subdivision and
using the frontage road to belgrade and bozeman daily is a necessity. I would appreciate if the
city would please consider keeping the speed limit at 50 mph. The frontage road is very narrow,
has large dump trucks and other construction trucks traveling everyday. I also feel more safe in
general. I have seen many accidents on the frontage road over the years especially in the winter. I
also feel 50 mph is safer if the bicyclists and pedestrian traffic who travel the frontage road. I
think that maintaining the 50 mph deters some of the faster traffic to use the interstate and the
new interchange which is fantastic. I hope you can take my comment into consideration when
you vote Monday evenning. I have a toddler and will be unable to attend this meeting. Thank
