Message: I'd like to comment on the issue of the speed limit on the frontage road to Belgrade. I
live in the Mountain View subdivision and have to use the frontage road to go anywhere. Since
the experimental speed limit of 50MPH was put in place, I've found that it is much easier and
safer to turn out onto the frontage. If the experiment showed that no more accidents occurred
with the lower speed limit, I would like to see it stay at 50MPH. There are very few areas on this
road with a shoulder and accidents at lower speeds are less likely to be as deadly. We need to
encourage use of the interstate for travel between Bozeman and Belgrade rather than make the
frontage more attractive as a conduit. Thank you for your consideration of my comments.
