I'm a home owner on the Frontage road just before Spring Hill. The speed limit has been 60 MPH since
the 70’s when my grandfather lived in the house I am in now. In the 1970’s there was little traffic in this
area but since the traffic has increased more than one can say.( 500%) Two deaths have occurred on this
stretch of the old HWY road in the past 20 years. Less than a year ago a man was riding his bike on this
streatch of the road and was killed. I have a cross on the other side of my driveway and every time I pull
out I’m reminded of the danger of the road. I have a high interest in keeping the road speed limit to 45
lowering it from 50 where it is now. I know the city has influence with the County and I would hope that
together we can see how this corridor of wildlife and growing subdivisions is necessary to keep safe and
beautiful we can prevent accidents. Let's do it now. Lets set the speed limit to 45 for our safety of
drivers, bikers and wildlife.
