on fire. Upon arrival firefighters found a large hedge that had caught fire from
fireworks. The fire was out upon the fire departments arrival. To help prevent
any other small fires the home owner placed a sprinkler next to the hedge.for a

Bryant 51. Upon arrival we discovered arcing power lines from the wind had
started a tree on fire. Montana Power removed the line from the tree and we
extinguished a mattress fire that had started on the ground from falling embers.

The Bozeman Fire Department was dispatched to the Bozeman SWim Center to assist a person who was
bleeding. On arrival fire personnel were canceled. Since they were on the scene they decided to check on the
condition of the indivic1ual. At first the person could not be located, and fire personnel were told that the
parent was going to transport. Fire personnel asked if they had already left and they had not. Further
investigation revealed that the person was still inthe locker room. When she was brought out, she appeared
to be lethargic. Fire personnel started to evaluate the 15 year old an(i,fOund that she had signs of distress.
Oxygen was administered and dispatch was notified that the ambulance should continue their response.
When Med- Trans arrived, fire personnel assisted with loading. Med- Trans started an I V in route.

Highland Blvd. and Cherry Street for a broken gas line. On arrival fire
personnel secured the scene and asked for Police personnel to assist in traffic
control. Sourdough Fire Department was also requested to assist for MutwJ1
Aid Montana Power personnel were able to shut off the gas line with no
further incidents.

Incident Narrative: Bozeman Firefighters responded to a mutual aid call from Gallatin Gateway
Fire to assist with a wildland fire that was out of control on High Flat Road.
Upon arrival Bozeman firefighters assisted Gallatin Gateway Fire with the
mop up stage of the fire. Approximately 100 acres were burned in this fire.
