SUBJECT: Appointment to the Gallatin Local Water Quality District Board
MEETING DATE: October 19, 2015 MEETING TYPE: Action
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint one member to the Gallatin Local Water Quality District
Board. BACKGROUND: The city representative has resigned and is not interested in serving
another term. One application has been received that will serve the remainder of the current term
expiring September 30, 2016.
The Gallatin Local Water Quality District was created by Resolution No. 1995-55 of the Gallatin County Commission, and approved by the Montana Board of Environmental Review in 1997. The focus of the Gallatin Local Water Quality District is water resources education and water
quality monitoring for increased awareness of water-related issues and public health.
This Board has one term for a City of Bozeman representative that is vacant. One
application has been received. Applicants seeking Appointment: Doug Chandler
