SUBJECT: 5.3 Million Gallon (MG) Water Storage Reservoir Project - Amendment
No. 1.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign Amendment No. 1 with Robert Peccia and Associates.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy of the partially executed Amendment No. 1 with Robert
Peccia and Associates for the 5.3 Million Gallon (MG) Water Storage Reservoir Project. The
document is in the City’s standard format.
The original professional services agreement for the project only included the predesign task. That task compared the various options for the type of reservoir to be constructed. The
predesign report determined that the preferred alternative is a Type I Prestressed Concrete
Reservoir. This amendment is to add the design phase services for the reservoir to the project.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission
FISCAL EFFECTS: $255,036 from the Water Impact Fee Fund.
