PROMISSORY NOTE
THIS AGREEMENT, hereby entered into on the 2(" f~ay of dveHB'J..~1Z- , 20Q2.Jby and between the
City of Three Forks, P.O. Box 187, Three Forks, Montana 59752, and the City of Bozeman, 411 E. Main, P.O.
Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59715.
The City of Three Forks, forreceipt ofa 1991 GMC Aries sewer television truck, VIN
2GTGG39K7M4501234, promises to pay to the City of Bozeman at the address listed above, or such other
place as the City of Bozeman shall designate in writing, the principal sum of Fourteen Thousand ($14,000)
Dollars with an initial payment of Seven Thousand ($7,000) Dollars being due and owing immediately upon
delivery of said truck. The City of Three Forks further agrees to pay the remaining Seven Thousand ($7,000)
Dollars not later than the 31 ot day of July 2003. No interest shall accrue between the date of the delivery ofthe
truck and the 31 st day of July 2003.
IF THIS PROMISSORY NOTE shall be placed in the hands of an attorney, including the City
Attorney or other staff attorney for the City, for collection, the undersigned agrees to pay a sum equal to all
amounts due and owing to the City of Bozeman, the costs of collection, interest accruing from the date of
default and reasonable attorneys' fees as fixed by court.
The makers and endorsers, if any, waive demand, protest and notice of demand, protest and
nonpayment, and agree that the maturity hereof may be extended from time to time and renewal dates accepted
without notice.
