Subject: Our visit
Our son began his freshman year at Montana State this fall. Being from Texas, we were
concerned about his being so far from home. However, after attending orientation at MSU and
being in Bozeman for the week, we are no longer worried.
Too many times in our society, people hurry to complain while compliments and praise are left
unsaid. With that in mind, I would like to say that people in Bozeman treated us as old family.
From the front desk at La Quinta to the Starbuck's at Target, EVERYONE we met welcomed us
and welcomed our son to MSU. We were treated especially nice by the the local Subaru dealer.
Everywhere we turned, people asked if we were there for orientation, where we were from and
then welcomed us to Montana and MSU...the community seems to embrace the university. I just
wanted you to know about our positive visit and we hope to make more in the coming years.
