Tracy. We purchased this home in 1987. It is/was in a neighborhood of medium-income families with modest-sized homes. My concern is the creep of very expensive remodels and rebuilt home in this neighborhood. As homes sell, they are remodeled or torn down and built into houses that far exceed the size intended for their lots. The impact is mostly felt by adjacent families. Sunlight and privacy are lost, existing house are dwarfed by these huge re-dos while property taxes increase. The character of the neighborhood is slowly changing on a community and level as well as affordability. If the Commission is serious about affordability, converting existing, affordable and modestly priced homes into $900,000 + remodels is a contradiction. I would like to see limits on the square footage, height and proximity to adjacent houses in the original core of Bozeman. Please take a tour of S. Tracy, S. Black, and there's one doozy on Dell place (see alley), to get a good idea of how affordable homes are being lost and replaced with million dollar structures. Respectfully, Connie Lange
