Kukulski, City Manager SUBJECT: Acknowledge and Approve Receipt of a Street/Alley Vacation Request from Kenneth J. and Kristin VanDewalle to vacate a portion on Pear Street between Interstate Highway Right-of-way, on the west end and Northern Pacific Railroad Mill Spur line on East End. MEETING DATE: September 14, 2015 AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent RECOMMENDATION: Motion to Acknowledge and Approve Receipt of a Street/Alley Vacation Request from Kenneth J. and Kristin VanDewalle to vacate a portion on Pear Street between Interstate Highway Right-of-way, on the west end and Northern Pacific Railroad Mill Spur line on East End. BACKGROUND: According to Section III B. of the City’s Rules of Procedure for Change of Street Name or Discontinuance, Abandonment or Vacation of Street or Alleys, the City Clerk (Clerk of Commission), upon receipt of the petition, will place the item on the Consent Agenda acknowledging receipt and directing that the petition be forwarded to Staff for review. The application for street/alley vacation was received on September 4, 2015 by the Engineering Office. UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
