Message: Dear Commission Members, I oppose the creation of an arterial and collector street
special district. If money is needed for this type of thing, re-allocate from somewhere else - like
the Bearcat - which you allowed the Police Department to hide from you for a year and then did
nothing about it when discovered. Or from the plowing budget. We don't need plowing, sanding
and salting everyn time we get 1/4 inch of snow, when you know it wil melt off before noon,
followed by (another) street sweeping. It is obvious what is going on there: a spend-it-or-lose-it
mode that is so rampant in government "services". Thank you, Gary Balaz
