Message: I am having a problem with a couple groups of skate boarders. Some live across the street and
another is down the street one block. They consistently have big groups skating in the street and often
set rails, boards and other jumps up in the street. I've seen several cars just miss hitting them. I've had
friends that can hardly get through to my house when coming over. I've called the police before and all
they say is that it is ok for them to skate in the street. Is it really ok for them to block the flow of traffic
for cars and bikes with their rails, etc.?? I do live in a college neighborhood, but did not think I would
have to live in front of a skate-park... If you could reply back to me with anything that could help this
situation, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! Lori Watson
