HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-02-15 Hammer ACSSD Public Comment i 7-2-15 To the City Commissioners of Bozeman: My husband and I paid impact fees approximately$12,000/lot, in 2005. Also, those of us that bought into Phase I, Baxter Meadows, paid high lot prices (ours was$125,000) because all the infrastructure was done on Baxter in front of the subdivision-wider road, bike lanes, etc. We should not be assessed for all of this new growth. Phase 2-Baxter West through The Crossing and all the new apartment buildings and Walt Wolf(doing all of the subdivisions south of Baxter all the way to Durston) should be the ones paying for any new road improvements out here. Jerry and I did not vote for the new soccer park and new High School to be placed behind Meadowlark because the High School already has other property it could build on, for example, Cottonwood. All the new developers should be the ones paying for all of the new growth, not the residents of Phase I. We more than paid for arterials (and by the way-PLEASE OPEN THE CATTAIL/FERGUSON ROADS-YOU HAVE ALREADY JAMMED US UP WITH ALL THE APARTMENTS, SOCCER, LACROSSE, ETC)!I I I Sincerely, Sandie and Jerry Hammer I am also VP of the Baxter Meadows subdivision and I am certain the other owners in Phase I agree with me as I hear about it all the time. We do NOT want to pay for the light on Davis and Baxter, either. Please get Ferguson built and open through Durston. Thank you I i
