Incident Narrative: The Bozeman Hazardous materials team was dispatched to mile marker 69 in
the Gallatin Canyon to a wreck involving a truck and trailer early Thursday
afternoon. The truck was reportedly forced off the road ~a passenger vehicle
who crossed the center line in bad weather conditions. A~oximately 2000
gallons of asphalt leaked into the barrow ditch. No asphalt from the spill ever
got close the Gallatin river. Crews pumped off the remaining product and
righted the vehicle for towing. Gallatin Gateway Fire Department also
responded.

Incident Narrative: Firefighters responded to a reported blanket on fire sitting on top of a car.
Upon arrival firefighters found a person that used a BBQ grill and charcoal
bricks to warm the engine compartment on thier car. A tarp was then placed
over the the hood of the car to help trap the heat. The tarp then started to
smolder causing the grill to melt. A passer by used a portable extinguisher and
slowed to fire till fire personnel arrived.
